READING CLUB: Will meet every 3rd Monday night at 6:30 PM

  • August

STORY TIME: Will meet at 3:45 PM for Pre-school through 4th grades crafts to follow.

WRITER'S CLUB: Do you like to write?  Ever dream about publishing a book, a poem, a greeting card or just writing an interesting letter? Bring your dream to your local library on  our WRITER'S CLUB will start and be officialy named by our participants.

If you would like to join the fund raising committee, contact either Ann McNabb, chairperson at 815-635-3649 or Mary Fisher-Miller at 815-635-3471.   If you wish to help with just one of the events, also feel free to volunteer and you will be put to work.

  LIBRARY FUNDRAISERS 

ALUMINUM CANS: -ONGOING-

BRING IN YOUR ALUMINUM CANS TO THE LIBRARY FOR RECYCLING. We now have a Green Recycling drop off next to the Mini park on Locust that is open during buisness hours for your aluminum drop off needs.

 

  LIBRARY FUNDRAISERS 

TOWN SCAVENGER HUNT AND CHILI SUPPER

When: SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 11 starting at 3 P.M.

Where: Chatsworth - Rider's Roadhouse

Cost: Tickets are $7.00 in advance or at the door.

Other: Pick up your clues for the literary themed scavenger hunt at 3 P.M. after the hunt, return to Rider's Roadhouse for chili and fixin's. We'll start serving around 5 P.M. Tickets are available at Bennett's Cleaners in Chatsworth, Vicky's Hairquarters in Chatsworth, Citizen's Bank in Chatsworth, and Tangles Salon in Fairbury. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the event.
